Pearl Ex Stamp Pads will add beautifully subtle metallic highlights to your holiday ornaments! It's easy, simply rub it or stamp it using a variety of items. I've used crinkled cellophane, a rubber stamp and even a pencil eraser!
My star was highlighted with the Red/Gold Duo Pearl Ex Stamp Pad. I just brushed the stamp pad directly against the ornament!
My holiday tree has a background of
Blue/Gold Duo Stamp Pad that is applied
by using a piece of crinkled cellophane like a stamp. This makes a lovely random texture
of metallic highlights. My "ornaments" are Copper and Gold Pearl Ex Stamp Pad applied to
the top of a new pencil eraser and used as the round stamp image.
Once the ink has dried the ornaments are ready to hang! If you like, you
can heat set the ink to add a more sparkling effect.
My round ornament has the
Copper Pearl Ex Stamp pad
brushed all around the
edges of the ornament
and a stylized border
stamped in Copper
across the center.
