Polymer Clay FAQ

Are you supposed to use Pearl Ex before or after you bake a piece?

Yes, you can use the Pearl Ex before baking or add it into a varnish after baking. The Pearl Ex will withstand temperatures up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

Can I apply Lumiere and Neopaque before baking my piece?

As an acrylic polymer, they could melt in the oven. If you do a test, be sure you have adequate ventilation.
