This water based varnish can be used as a medium or as a top coat with
Pearl Ex Pigments. Works great on paper, clay, metal, wood or plastic and cleans
up easily with water. This varnish enables Pearl Ex users to create their own

Jacquard Gum Arabic is an excellent
medium for Pearl Ex. Just use Pearl Ex, Gum Arabic, & water! ![]()
Jacquard Textile Colors: Mix Pearl Ex into
#100 Colorless Extender to create a pure Pearl Ex paint or metallicise any of the other
Textile Colors by adding it to them. ![]()
Jacquard Neopaque: Neopaque #579 Extender is an
excellent medium for Pearl Ex. Adding Pearl Ex to the other Neopaque colors will result
in a muted metallic effect due to the opaque nature of the paints. ![]()
Jacquard Professional Screen Inks & Versatex Screen Inks are both excellent mediums for Pearl Ex. The particle size of all but 3 of the Pearl Ex colors should work perfectly for screen printing. The 3 colors you should not use for screen printing are: #652 Macropearl, #657 Sparkle Gold, & #690 Sparkling Copper.
Jacquard Airbrush Colors: Like our screen inks, Jacquard Airbrush Colors are an excellent medium for Pearl Ex but the 3 large particle sized colors listed above should also be avoided for airbrushing.
Jacquard Gutta Resist is an excellent medium for Pearl Ex. However, not for applications that will be dry cleaned. Dry cleaning will remove the gutta and the Pearl Ex.
