In response to this, we have bundled several of our product lines into convenient “Class Packs.” Imagine being able to add a whole new creative dimension to an art, science, history or cultural studies curriculum by incorporating a fabric-based art project!

Silk Painting Class Pack (#JAC7KIT)The Silk Painting Class Pack is the ideal, all-in-one, project-based kit to introduce students to the beauty of painting on silk with dyes. It comes with virtually everything you need, including the fabric. This Class Pack includes: 30 pre-stretched (9 ½" diameter) silk hoops, 5 (2 oz.) bottles of silk dye (yellow, red, blue, black, and brown sienna), 8 oz. water-based resist, 10 oz. silk salt, 6 resist applicator bottles with #7 applicator tips, 30 - 5/8?" bamboo brushes, easy-to-follow instructions. Dye-Na-Flow Class Pack (#JAC1800)Dye-Na-Flow is a highly-concentrated, free-flowing, non-toxic fabric paint that simulates dye; it is designed for use both natural and synthetic fabrics. The colors remain soft and colorfast after heat setting with an iron. This flexible Class Pack contains all the supplies needed to do hundreds of fabric painting projects; it comes with: 30 ( 2.25 oz.) bottles (1 of each color in the Dye-Na-Flow palette) fabric paint, 8 oz. water-based resist, 10 oz. silk salt, 24 5/8" bamboo brushes, 6 resist applicator bottles with #7 applicator tips, 5 plastic droppers, easy-to-follow instructions. You supply the fabric(s) and enjoy the results. Students are only limited by their imaginations when creating projects with these fun and easy-to-use paints. Marbling Class Pack (#JAC1KIT)The art of marbling paper has been historically associated with the craft of bookbinding. The technique of marbling involves creating a multi-colored pattern of paint that floats on the surface of a gel-like medium. Paper or fabric is then laid on the surface to pick up the floating paint and transfer the design. Jacquard Products has created a Class Pack that allows students to experience this exciting craft. This pack allows students to create elegant patterns on fabric or paper. The pack comes with: 8 (2 oz.) bottles of Jacquard Marbling Colors, 1 lb. of alum (for pre-treating the paper or fabric), 8 oz. of methocel (quick-wetting marbling medium), cotton fabric (2 yds. of 61" cotton sheeting), 8 droppers for applying paint, easy-to-follow instructions. You will need to supply newspaper strips, shallow pans/trays, a pail and water. The fabric can be incorporated into a large project such as a class quilt or individual pillow covers. The Tie Dye Class Pack contains: 9 (8 oz.) applicator bottles of pre-measured Procion MX Dye powder (3 each of yellow, magenta, turquoise) – just add water, 3 empty (8 oz.) applicator mixing bottles, 1 lb.soda ash dye fixer, ½ lb. of rubber bands, a box of gloves, the easy-to-follow book - “Tie Dye to Die for & Batik You Can't Resist.” You supply the 100% cotton shirt or fabric, paper towels and a pail. This pack contains: Procion MX Dye powder (8 oz. each of yellow, magenta, turquoise), 2 boxes (100 ea.) of gloves, 30 (8 oz.) applicator mixing bottles , 4 lbs. soda ash dye fixer, 2 lbs. rubber bands, scoop, funnel, easy-to-follow book - “Tie Dye to Die for & Batik You Can't Resist.” You supply the 100% cotton shirt or fabric, paper towels and a pail.
