With these fabric sheets you can now print your own images onto fabric! These sheets of fabric are paper backed so that they will easily go through your inkjet printer. They are not a transfer paper and do not contain any sort of adhesive. To adhere the fabric to your project, you can sew, or use a fusible bonding material, such as Stitch Witchery®, Fus-O-Bond, or Wonder Under®, depending on the surface you are adhereing to. The easiest way to adhere the fabric is to iron it on using these fusible bonding materials.

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Before you print onto your fabric sheet, run a test on paper to check for orientation and alignment of your image. You may also want to change your printer settings to get the most ink onto the fabric as possible up to the point of bleeding. This way you will get a really saturated image. Every printer is different so it is a good idea to test different settings. If you are using the Inkjet Roll make sure that your page set up is for a roll or banner.

  2. Load your fabric into your printer. Print your image.

  3. Peel the fabric from the paper backing.

    If you are using the Inkjet Fabric in an application which will never encounter moisture such as scrapbooking, mixed media or display, then you may go to Step 5.

  4. The image will not withstand standard washing methods - it needs to be treated for water resistance. We recommend spraying it with Scotchgard™ or similar product. Use multiple applications of light coats, as a heavy single application could move the ink. This treatment should not affect the feel of the fabric. Testing for appropriate coverage is recommended. Rinse gently with cool water.

  5. Let dry and then press if necessary. Now you are ready to go!

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Finished piece may be dry cleaned, however due to the variety of printer inks in the market place, we recommend testing a sample first. Pieces that have been treated with Scotchgard or similar products may be gently hand washed in cool water.
