NEW Product: Color Magnet for Screen Printing

We are excited to announce Color Magnet™ - a unique new product that magically attracts more dye where it is applied! First to be introduced, from the family of Color Magnet™ products, this formulation is specifically made for screen printing.

Simply screen print Color Magnet™ directly from the jar onto fabric, let it dry thoroughly and then dye fabric using the Jacquard dye of your choice. Color Magnet™ doesn't stiffen the fabric, so the two-toned result is perfectly soft. Item #CHM3900 - 16 oz/.47 L (MSRP $9.99). Look for other Color Magnet™ products coming soon...

NEW Color: Pearl Ex Powdered Pigments

New color Solar Gold #691 will replace Sparkling Copper #690 in individual Pearl Ex sizes, the recently re-designed Pearl Ex Series 2 Set and the Pearl Ex 32 Color Set. Sparkling Copper is no longer available anywhere in the world.

Discontinued Chemical: Superclear

Superclear has been discontinued (CHM1012, CHM2012 & CHM3012).

Goodbye to Jenny

Did You Know?

Pearl Ex can be used with encaustic! (Stencil by Stencil Girl Products - PB Seggebruch Collection.)

For a light, transparent color, mix a small amount of Pearl Ex into Jacquard's Encaustic Medium.
For a more metallic and opaque wax, mix in more Pearl Ex.
For a light metallic sheen, rub Pearl Ex through a stencil onto a warm wax surface. (see photos below)

Halloween Treat Tote by: Victoria Garcia

Create this fun Halloween bag using Jacquard's: Procion MX Dye, Color Magnet™, Transfer Paper and Tee Juice Fabric Art Markers. Click here for detailed instructions & a printer friendly PDF format

Materials

Canvas tote bag
Jacquard Procion MX Dye: Brilliant Orange #020
Soda Ash
Jacquard Color Magnet™ for Silk Screening
Jacquard Transfer Paper
Tee Juice Fabric Art Marker - black fine and medium point
1" Foam brush
Halloween pumpkin stencil
Image to print onto the Transfer Paper

Prewash tote bag (adding Synthrapol recommended).
Print a picture of a pumpkin onto paper, and cut out the image to make a paper stencil.
Using a foam brush, stencil Color Magnet™ for Screen Printing onto the tote. Let air dry.
Dye tote with Procion MX dye. After rinsing it, put it into the dryer with some towels to dry. Iron it until smooth.
Using an inkjet printer, print out a haunted house image onto Transfer Paper. Cut out the image, and transfer it to the bag (following the directions on the Transfer Paper package).
Personalize your design with Tee Juice Fabric Art Markers.
