also want to know if material is silk does that make a difference-I want lightweight knit silk for nightgowns.

Hi,
The yardage of each bold varies I am affraid I can't give you an exact number per bolt untill you call for a specific weight and type. The best bet is to call 1800 442 0455 and speak to somebody in customer service regarding what you would like and they can then check to see what they have in stock. Celia
