Using Dye-na-flow as tie dye on acetate
  • has anyone used the paint as a spray for tie dye effect ? I want to use it on an acetate fabric...should i dilute it more ?
  • Dye-Na-Flow works great as a spray for tie dye effects, especially on difficult-to-dye fabrics like acetate. Just make sure your fabric isn't coated or sealed with anything, and always remeber to wash your fabric before applying the paint. You can dilute DNF with water up to about 20% for lighter colors, but it will work best right out of the jar. You'll just want to heat set the paint with a dry iron once it is completely dry. After that, the color should be totally permanent and washable.
