Mixing flesh tones with dyes.....?
  • Do you have any recipe's to mix flesh tones for not only caucasian but other skin tones as well?
I'm using Jacquard's Red Label Silk dyes on 10mm, 12mm and 16mm Habotai silk
Any and all help is desperately needed and greatly appreciated!
  • Basically sepia is a really good starting point for skin tones. You can add chocolate brown to darken the tone, or red to lighten to more of a caucasian skin tone. Many people have that red base to their skin tone, but there are also yellow and olive bases that can be added to the sepia to get you there. Here is a chart that will show you how to mix the sepia. From their it is a matter of taste I think.
