Ink Jet on Baby Blanket
  • I am putting my daughters baby picture on her baby blanket with her birthdate. If she would get in contact with picture of inkjet printing would this cause problems?
  • You shouldn't have anything to worry about here, just a couple of things you need to do:
After you print the image, let it dry completely, heat set with a hot, dry iron, then rinse it in cool/warm water to remove any excess ink before you apply it to the blanket. Keep in mind that the inkjet products are designed for gentle washing only--they will not stand up well to vigorous washing.

  • Thanks for the info, I'm wanting to do something similar on my cashmere baby blanket.
