I dyed cotton clothesline rope with IDye turquoise for natural textiles. I'm sewing rope to make decorative containers not intended for food but for decorative purpose only. But realize that some people may put things like cookies or candy in the containers anyway. Should I worry that the dye would transfer to the food or is it safe after dyeing and drying?
