• I died two cotton dresses and they both were blochy and there were several white spots. What did I do wrong?
  • If the dresses were new and hadn't been prewashed, then it might be that there was some sort of coating on the fabric-such as starches or stain fighers-that prevented even absorption of the dye. Otherwise, it could have been that the dresses weren't agitated enough in the dyebath or weren't full submerged.

  • Can I re dye?
  • Dyes are transparent so it would be best to use one of our color removers first to try to remove the dye. The success of the removal chemical depends on the particular dye color used-some remove nearly all the way, some remove to another color and some are immune to the chemical. It is a safe alternative to bleach so it won't damage the fiber. Jenny
