iDyePoly in the dryer - HELP!
  • Hello,
We are new to dyeing Poly and actually did a decent job tye dyeing some 100% polyester shirts (half in one pot half in the other on a camp stove for abot 30 mins). Then we washed them in vinegar twice and then once in detergent. Seemed to work OK.

However, when we threw them in the dryer, the blue dye stained the inside of the dryer!! How can I get this out in order to safely dry more clothes??

    Your help is much appreciated.

  • Clean the inside of your dryer with a sponge and some scrubbing powder that contains a little bleach in its formula, such as Ajax. Use a clean wet rag or sponge to remove any traces of scrubbing powder from the dryer when you're done.
