I purchased Sherrill's Sorbet Colors light bodied paint kit. Can I use this paint on polymer clay? Do I need to bake it first? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Fredda

Hi,
The paint is really designed to perform best on absorbent surfaces such as fabric or paper. It could possibly work quite well on clay as it is an acrylic but may need a finishing varnish to protect the paint's surface. I would definitely bake the clay first as I doubt the paint will fair very well in the oven and then apply the color. I would also do a test first. Please note that Lumiere and Pearl Ex (http://www.jacquardproducts.com/pearlex.php) are also excellent colors for use on polymer clay.
