Polka dot ribbon

Hi
I need to make magenta polka dots on 2inch wide white satin or silk ribbon. Is there a way to make polka dots without the color running? thanks for you help.

Hi,
You would have to use a paint such as textile color or lumiere and neopaque or noflow to thicken dye or dye na flow. Alternatively use a resist.
