[font=Comic Sans MS][color=Red]Dear Cecilia. I am looking to create these colors on Silk by using PROCION MX and CITRIC ACID, with UREA and letting the colors batch 24 hours.
I have been unable to create
1. a red darker than the scarlet you see here
2. any sort of[color=Indigo] navy.[/color]
3. [color=DarkSlateGray] Black is impossible[/color], because of the fiber being protein and not cellulose. I have never gotten even a grey Only weird purples.
Would these above colors be possible if I microwaved the silk? Have any advice?
Oh and can you microave the Jacquard metallic resists??
