procion H dye instructions

I was given a starter set of Procion H dyes but I don't know how to mix them and can't find info on "how to" do it. I want to paint on silk directly and steam them.
Did I read somewhere that their is a new dye you just add water to and use? Would they be as brilliant as the procion dyes?

Did I read somewhere that their is a new dye you just add water to and use? Would they be as brilliant as the procion dyes?It sounds like you may be talking about an instant-set pigment dye. Pigment dyes and other fabric paints do not give results as brilliant as those of steam-set dyes.
