On some wools, I have trouble getting dye to wet the fabric when painting. It seems that the natural oils in the wool keep the dye from flowing smoothly. Is there a product that is the opposite of No-Flow (which, by the way, doesn't seem to be online)? Can it be mixed with the dye?

Hi,
Lanolin is the natural oil that is found in wool. You should add alcohol to the dye as a wetting solution and/or wash the wool with Synthrapol (http://www.jacquardproducts.com/products/chemicals/synthrapol.php) and soda ash (http://www.jacquardproducts.com/products/chemicals/sodaash.php) in a non-agitated wash at 140F to remove the oil. The wool may shrink do a test first.
